Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Charmvow, operated by YOUR_LEGAL_ENTITY, YOUR_ADDRESS. By creating an account you agree to them. Contact: YOUR_CONTACT_EMAIL.

What the service is

Charmvow lets you collect fictional characters and hold conversations with them. Character replies are generated by an AI model. They are fiction, not fact — they may be inaccurate, and they are not advice of any kind, including medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. Every character is a fictional creation and is not a real person.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 to hold an account and at least 18 to make any purchase. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure.

Acceptable use

• ·Do not use the service to generate content sexualising minors, to harass or threaten anyone, or for anything unlawful.
• ·Do not attempt to extract, resell, or reverse-engineer character persona definitions.
• ·Do not automate account creation, run scripts against the service, or attempt to farm referral rewards. See referrals below.
• ·Do not attempt to bypass message quotas, rate limits, or payment.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, and may forfeit unspent embers on an account terminated for abuse.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid tiers are Token ($5.99/mo), Talisman ($14.99/mo), Relic ($39.99/mo), Regalia ($89.99/mo), Sovereign ($199.99/mo). Yearly plans are also available at a discount shown on the pricing page.

• ·Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
• ·You are charged at the start of each period using the payment method on file.
• ·Prices are exclusive of tax where applicable; tax is calculated at checkout.
• ·We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice, effective at your next renewal.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from your account page, which opens the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your tier stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. No account deletion or email to support is required to cancel.

Refunds

Subscription payments are generally non-refundable once the period has started, except where refunds are required by law. If you are in the EU or EEA you have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content; by starting to use paid features immediately you acknowledge that this right is lost once delivery has begun. If you are in the United States, several states (including California) require that an auto-renewing subscription be cancellable by the same means you used to subscribe — the account page below does this. Embers are consumable digital goods and are non-refundable once spent.

Embers

Embers are a virtual in-app currency with no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money, transferred between accounts, or redeemed outside Charmvow. Embers are used to send gifts to characters; a gift is consumed when sent and is not refundable. Packs range from 500 embers at $4.99 up to 15,000 embers at $99.99. We may change ember prices or earn rates going forward; we will not retroactively remove embers you have already bought.

Referrals

Invited users receive 300 embers on signup. The referrer receives 300 embers once the invited user has sent 10 messages and verified their email, and a further 1,500 embers if the invited user subscribes within 30 days. Referrals are capped at 50 qualifying invites per referrer per month. Self-referral and bulk or automated signups are prohibited and forfeit rewards.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you write. You grant us the licence needed to operate the service — storing your messages and transmitting them to our AI processor to generate replies. See the Privacy Policy for who that processor is and where processing happens.

Availability and liability

The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and AI generation depends on a third-party provider that may have outages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will revise the effective date above; material changes will be notified by email. These terms are governed by the laws of YOUR_JURISDICTION.
